Out-Patient Services

Monday to Saturday:
Winters [October – March] - 9.00 AM - 3.00 PM
Summers [April- September] - 8.00 AM – 2.00 PM

OPD services are also available on all Government holidays and Sundays [from 9.00AM – 11.00AM]

Facility of Plasters and dressing is available in OPD area.

In-Patient Services

There are 40 sanctioned in-patient general ward beds. In addition, patients are admitted to emergency wards and special wards. Available surgical facilities in the department are: trauma surgery for routine and complex trauma including spinal injuries; correction of congenital and acquired deformities using complex corrective procedures like Ilizarov technique; hip and knee total joint replacement; knee arthroscopy and Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) reconstruction; limb salvage reconstruction after bone tumor resections); spinal surgeries like antero-lateral decompression, anterior decompression, discectomy, posterior instrumentation and fusion for spondylolisthesis; poliomyelitis and cerebral palsy corrective procedures.

Emergency Services
The department of orthopaedics provides round the clock emergency trauma care on all days throughout the year. Cases are provided first aid, appropriate plasters and splints, wounds dressings and suturing. Serious patients are admitted and managed in IPD. Emergency procedures are performed as required round the clock.

Clubfoot Clinic (Weekly) - Every Tuesdays
Osteoarthritis Clinic (Weekly) - Every Wednesdays
Spine Clinic (Weekly) - Every Friday
