Our university is working with a vision to offer a nationally leading and internationally known medical education that produces excellent doctors, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, paramedical staff, equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to challenges within healthcare and to transform patient care. RUHS ensures maintaining the standards of various higher councils/commission like National Medical Commission, Dental Council of India, Indian Nursing Council, Pharmacy Council of India, Rehabilitation Council of India etc. in all the affiliated and constituent colleges. The syllabuses, pattern of examination for various courses are based on the regulations of concerning higher council. Board of Studies in each faculty is there for regular updation of course of studies as per the need of hour.

Healthcare education needs to be re-envisioned so that the duration, structure, and design of the educational programmes need to match the role requirements that graduates will play. RUHS is planning for several reforms in its existing administrative and academic environment. At the same time the areas of resource generation to make the university self dependent by its true sense autonomy are also focused.

RUHS is the only university in government set-up in the state of Rajasthan which is imparting education in the filed of medical and allied health sciences. The academic standards and policies decided by our university are generally being followed by the other universities of the state in private set-up. Students seeking admissions in medical and allied education prefers their admission in the constituent and affiliated colleges of RUHS. Our university follows the reservation policies decided by the state government in the admission of its various courses both in affiliated and constituent colleges as well.

Research & Development activities, Collaboration with national & international institute for research and exchange program for students & faculties, Stem Cell Research, Significant increase in number of affiliated colleges, Increase in number of Medical & Dental seats of UG/PG courses, Land and Beautiful Buildings with green campus, Experienced & young teaching faculties, Visiting Faculties of national & international repute, dedicated non-teaching staff, automation of working procedure, online recruitment & entrance exam, dynamic website, smart village initiative etc are the area of strength of university.

We maintain academic standards of the respective higher councils in all of our courses. The gross enrollment ratio is much higher on the part of RUHS in comparison to other private universities. Well qualified, skilled and experience teaching faculty team is one of the most important strength of RUHS. Our faculties have a number of research publications in world’s prestigious and important research Journals. Dedicated team of teaching and non teaching staff is also one of the key strength of the university.

Besides the above, the state government also supports the RUHS for its development and further upliftment from time to time. With the support of capital funding by state government, we have developed a state of art infrastructure in our medical and dental colleges. The RUHS hospital is serving as state dedicated COVID hospital during this pending period and saved thousand of lives of common man.
