Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Yeole

Academic Leadership and Vision

I, Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Govindrao Yeole, bring over four decades of experience in academics, research, and administration, driven by a passion for fostering excellence in higher education. With a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, I have had the honor of serving as Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and Acting Vice- Chancellor at several esteemed institutions, where I demonstrated transformative leadership and commitment to institutional development.

 

I served as Chairman of the State Level Quality Assurance Cell for the Government of Maharashtra and currently serving as Vice-President of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). My academic contributions include mentoring 65 postgraduate students, guiding 19 Ph.D. scholars to successful completion, authoring three books, publishing 10 articles and 72 research papers, and contributing to industrial projects, culminating in four awarded patents.

 

I have been recognized nationally for my achievements, including being named among India’s Top 20 Eminent Vice-Chancellors in 2020 and 2021. My accolades include the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, the
G.P. Shrivastava Award, and the Best Teacher Award from the Government of Maharashtra.

 

In addition to academic excellence, I have contributed significantly to shaping national policies, particularly the National Education Policy in Maharashtra. My active involvement in professional organizations, such as serving as President of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, reflects my dedication to advancing education and research.

 

I will leverage my extensive experience and visionary leadership to drive the university’s overall development. I am committed to fostering innovation, inclusivity, and excellence, ensuring that the university becomes a beacon of academic and research achievements.
